How to access and browse the FluoEM data

The FluoEM data can be accessed and browsed using webKnossos, our efficient in-browser annotation tool for 3D image data: Boergens, K.M., Berning, M., Bocklisch, T., Bräunlein, D., Drawitsch, F., Frohnhofen, J., Herold, T., Otto, P., Rzepka, N., Werkmeister, T., et al. (2017). webKnossos: efficient online 3D data annotation for connectomics. Nature Methods 14, 691.

The data is hosted on a webKnossos demo instance, allowing to directly browse our published datasets without requiring prior user registration.

There are two options to access the data:

Browse datasets

On the webKnossos landing page dataset thumbnails are displayed. Expand the view by clicking “show more” in the right corner of the “Max Planck Institute for Brain Research” section. You can view the relevant FluoEM datasets either by selecting one of the following dataset thumbnails or use the direct links taking you directly into the data browsing mode:
